1) Transport Your Groceries In Your Car (We have a solution)
MindForce acquired an option to license the following design patent (see picture) from a university. A small team of MBAGN members have spent the past month analyzing the opportunity to determine if we can either find a licensing partner or create a new business. We are seeking one or two more team members, preferably marketing professionals, who have definitive ideas of potential partners (supermarket chain as exclusive promotional item, and a company using it as a gift to SUV owners are two examples). These people should have the enthusiasm to work with us to find these partners and will be generously compensated upon success. We have a video demonstration of the prototype that definitely allayed our fears of liability, i.e. if groceries go flinging out of the plastic bags. The product will be hung from either the back of the passenger seat headrest or from the back seat hook near the window. We believe this is, at best, a nice small business if we can find our niche and a great distribution partner who can bring potential customers, or a licensing broker opportunity if we can generate interest from the first large orderer.
2) (FYI) We have 11 members (who responded to a Pinpoint Email) on a phone call this Thursday about our working to find a licensee for a data compression technology from a major university. We are assessing its business potential and are talking with the chief scientist who created the compression algorithm.

Based on excellent member feedback, we are changing our emailing frequency to three-times per month starting in November, essentially breaking apart this info-filled eNewsletter we send into three smaller, more digestable ones (with RSS feeds, too)
